CAPT David T. Ott (USN, Ret.)

Small business owner, senior defense manager, and retired U.S. Naval Officer with over 27 years of Naval Aviation, Senior Staff and Major Command experience.  During his active duty, David flew over 80 combat missions from deployed aircraft carriers in support of combat operations in Iraq and Kosovo.  David was the Commander of the Joint Warfare Analysis Center (JWAC) from 2004 through 2007 providing effects-based engagement options to Senior DoD and Interagency Officials.
Upon retiring from the US Navy in 2007, David was hired by Northrop Grumman to assist with building and marketing sensitive intelligence offerings supporting human terrain analysis.  In 2009, David was recruited by the United States Army as a Senior Executive where he served as the Army’s Director of Culture and Foreign Language.  In 2013, he joined Shell Exploration and Production as the Alaska Infrastructure Manager and ultimately became the Alaskan Maritime Logistics and Infrastructure Director through 2016. In 2017, David was recruited by Amazon to lead operations at a Fulfillment Center in SE Tennessee applying cross-functional expertise to improve operational efficiency resulting in process records that have yet to be broken.  Most recently, David has served as Transition, Integration, and Transformation Manager at Alion Science/Huntington Ingalls for a $900M Navy integrated training contract.
David is the President and CEO of Tuskahoma Enterprises which is a small, Native American/Veteran-owned small business focused on providing management consulting services, analytic services for effects-based solutions, and external relations/cultural awareness support.
