Charles Yessaian
Chief Operating Officer
Charles Yessaian has extensive experience at both the federal and state levels of government. He presently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Government Affairs for JMH Group. Based on his extensive experience on Capitol Hill, he specializes in issues management, government procurement and managing JMH Board of Advisors activities.
Mr. Yessaian served as Legislative Director for Congressman Joe Schwarz, M.D. of Michigan and in that capacity ran the day to day operations in his Washington, D.C. office and coordinated efforts of the Congressman's three Congressional Committees: Armed Services, Science & Technology, and Agriculture.
Prior to working for Congressman Schwarz, Chuck served in the office of Congressman Fred Upton of Michigan as a Legislative Assistant. In that position, he acted as the liaison with the Education & the Workforce Committee and advised the Congressman on issues relating to Education, Labor, Agriculture, Insurance, and Federal Employee Issues. Retired Congressman Upton served as the Chairman of the powerful House Energy & Commerce Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives. Mr. Yessaian also served the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure in the U.S. House of Representatives, employed as Legislative Staff Assistant for Oversight and Investigation with a focus on Pipeline Security and the Surface Transportation Reauthorization Bill under Chairman Don Young of Alaska. In addition to his work on Capitol Hill, Chuck has extensive federal and state campaign experience.
Mr. Yessaian is a graduate of Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois where he majored in History and was a scholarship baseball player and Division ll academic All-American. Chuck has a Masters of Arts in Government Degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD and serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for Delta Star, Inc. a Lynchburg, VA Headquartered ESOP company that specializes in the manufacturing of high-quality medium power transformers and mobile substations.
Chuck is married to his beautiful wife Sema and they are the proud parents of their daughter, Melanie Rose and their son, Charles Aram.
